The mediview mTBI video is incorrect in several important ways. CT is more sensitive at revealing acute and subacute cerebral hemorrhage (contusion) than MRI. Chronic hemorrhagic blood products, however, may be better seen on MRI. The presence of hemorrhage does not always represent coexistent shear type injury.
