Here is the description of the apps;
We have two great concussion tools that can help provide a comprehensive concussion incident strategy for schools or athletic teams. One of our apps was created for parents and coaches, and the other for individuals with medical training.
The Concussion Recognition & Response is an excellent app for parents and coaches. The CRR provides a sign and symptom checklist, concussion information, symptom monitoring, post-injury guidance, and the ability to email reports to others. It was designed with parents and coaches in mind so it has great information that they would need to ensure that their child or athlete receives the right care. This app is intended for people who do not have medical training but still would like proper guidance on recognizing the signs and symptoms of a concussion.
The Concussion Assessment & Response is another app we have developed, but it is geared to Athletic Trainers and medical professionals. The CARE provides the ability to document an athlete’s injury and guides the user through questions that help determine the severity of their injury. It also provides the Sideline Assessment of Concussion, Balance Error Scoring System, and Graded Symptom Checklist all in electronic form. The CARE is an excellent way to document injuries and provide baseline test scores for athletes prior to injury.
