NFL Week 16 Concussion Report

The Concussion Blog Original, NFL Concussion Report, is a weekly compiling of the reported head injuries in the National Football League.  Concussions are added to the list each week from multiple sources to give you the reader a picture of what is happening on the field.  Each week we will bring you the list of players along with relevant statistics.  If we have missed a concussion or put one on here erroneously, let us know.

Last week was not a season high in terms of numbers there were 11, previous high was 13 in week nine. But in profile it may have out done Week 6.  One concussion may have ended a career, one concussion was labeled a second but really a third, and two concussions from offensive lineman (one of which was a kick return specialist).

We are ready to present the Week 16 report…  But let us also take a look at where we were in Week 7 (the week after all the controversy and new fine scale).
