I would like to add… That if there was a high school player that exhibited those gross motor control losses after a hit THEY WOULD NOT be returing to that game, PERIOD!!! I should say that they better not return to the game, PERIOD!!!
I know I can only speak for myself and the school I work for but that is a prime example of a disqualifying hit…
If their s/s cleared, great they will be ready for practice in a few days then…
Wow! I feel like that one might just be one that gets sent along too! As a future athletic trainer (BOC in November) there’s no way that player would play again without physician clearance.
Good Luck on the test in November… And way to be proactive in the concussions…
